Do you repair drywall and fix holes, cracks and imperfections?

Yes! This is always a part of our services. To get the best look from Luxe’s professional painters in the greater Moncton area, and beyond in New Brunswick, this step is essential to getting a smooth, flawless finish. Additionally, we sand your walls before and in between each coat do get the best results and make your project really stand out!

Can you help me choose the right paint colours and finishes?

Yes! Luxe’s interior designer will guide you through the whole process and provide you with colour selections that fit your taste and work with your furniture and the lighting in your home. A colour consultation with our interior designer is always included when you book painting services with Luxe Paintworks Inc.

Are you insured?

Yes. Luxe Paintworks Inc. carries a large commercial liability policy - however, we’ve never had to use it because we’re thoughtful, careful and professional on every job site.

Will you protect my furniture and flooring during the job?

Yes! Professional level results simply cannot be achieved without professional level preparation. We move and cover all your furniture and flooring before we even think about bringing out any tools. Rest assured that your home and belongings will be fully protected at all times while we are working.

How many coats of paint will be applied?

We always apply two coats of paint. Always. You can’t achieve flawlessly painted walls and ceilings with one coat of paint. Whatever painting company you choose, always ensure they are doing the job right and that includes two coats of high-quality paint.

What type and brand of paint do you recommend, and why?

Our go-to, high-end paint for walls is the Emerald line by Sherwin-Williams. This line of paints gives the best results, long-lasting colour and maximum durability and are the easiest paints to work with, in our opinion. For trim and doors we only use paints specifically designed for these applications. We recommend Sherwin-Williams’ Pro Classic, at minimum, and tend to lean towards Emerald Urethane, again by Sherwin-Williams, to achieve the smoothest, streak-free look that hardens to a durable finish. Wall paint will not get as hard as any of these trim/door specific paints so we urge you to verify with your contractor what products they are using.

For cabinets other specialized applications we use a variety of high-quality paints that are specific to the needs of the substrate.
